Dream job alert! You can now apply to be a dog nanny for two lovely pups in Kensington, London – and you’ll be paid £100,000.

The live-in role would require you to provide ‘unparalleled care and attention to the dogs, treating them as valued members of the family,’ as per the job description.

This includes feeding, grooming, and ensuring they receive regular exercise and playtime. So, basically, all the same things you’d do for any dog.

But there’s more.

You’d also be tasked with all of the pup-related admin, including overseeing vet appointments, vaccinations and check ups, as well aa planning and organising ‘socialisation opportunities’ for the dogs, like taking them to dog parks, organising playdates and finding ‘enriching activities’ for them to take part in.

On top of all that fun stuff, you’d also be expected to take care of administering any prescribed medicine, keeping ‘detailed records’ of their health and medical history and developing a personalised exercise routine for each of the dogs.

Plus, you’ll be accompanying the pooches during both domestic and international travels and ‘ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey’.

‘This may include coordinating logistics, arranging pet-friendly accommodations, and adhering to specific travel regulations,’ says the job description.

Finally, you’ll be required to implement ‘stringent security measures to safeguard the dogs,’ due to their ‘high-profile environment’. You’ll do so by coordinating with security personnel.

To be considered for the role, you should be able to demonstrate experience as a professional dog nanny or similar ,preferably with an ultra high net worth family or other clients.

And before you ask, the ad does not specify who this particular family may be.

You should also have a strong understanding of dog health and nutrition, as well as familiarity with administering medications and recognising signs of illness or distress, and be proficient in positive reinforcement training techniques.

You should also be okay with working irregular and unsociable hours, understandably. Oh, and you’ll need a valid driver’s licence.

Sounds like a dog lover’s dream, if you ask us. And for £100,000, who’s complaining?!
