Katie Price TV show will ‘document surrogacy journey’ for sixth baby
Katie Price is no stranger to showing her life on TV, and she reportedly has plans for a new show that will document her surrogacy journey.
We’ve seen Katie’s romance with former husband Peter Andre play out in nine ITV series documenting everything from their wedding to the arrival of the children. Cameras then followed Katie in the aftermath of their 2009 divorce, and most recently we’ve seen Katie tackle house renovations in Channel 4 show Mucky Mansion.
The Pricey already has five children, but has made no secret of the fact she’d like to add another one to the brood and this could make interesting material for a TV show.
‘Katie will capture the highs and lows of her surrogacy journey on camera, and she knows her fans will want to see it all. She’s desperate for her kids to have a new brother or sister,’ a source told The Sun.
Explaining why Katie, 45, decided to go down this route, the source said: ‘She had difficult pregnancies with Bunny and Jett. She struggled to get pregnant again when she was trying with Carl last year.’
Katie has been in an on/off relationship with Carl Woods since 2020. The pair confirmed they’d split in November, but got back together in recent months.
While recently speaking on a podcast (that she certainly won’t have listened back to as she recently admitted she’s never listened to a podcast at the launch of her, *checks notes*, podcast) called Turning Adversity Into an Asset Katie revealed how far she’d got with her baby-making plans.
‘I have got a surrogate, I haven’t got any eggs anymore, I want another baby so what am I supposed to do?
‘I can’t pop it out,’ she explained.
She already has a carrier in mind too. ‘I have got this lady, it will be my egg – she’s been a fan of mine for years and she does do surrogacy.’
Katie is mum to Harvey with Dwight York, Princess and Junior who she shares with Peter, as well as Bunny and Jett from her marriage to Kieran Hayler.
