She wore the sunny yellow blazer to visit the youth development charity in Bath, founded by Olympic athlete, Kelly Holmes.
Yellow is often used as the unofficial colour by mental health charities, with Young Minds encouraging supporters to wear yellow on World Mental Health Day later this year.
The casual look was a departure for her formal outfits over the Coronation, and once again showcased Kate’s love of the British high street. The blazer is from LK Bennett, and costs £359.
She teamed the statement jacket with a white jeans and top, and her trusty white Veja trainers.
Kate has long been a champion of prioritising the mental wellbeing of young people, and supports various charities, including Heads Together and Shout 85258.
The Kelly Holmes Trust puts athletes shoulder to shoulder with young people, to pass on their winning mindset and provide coaching and mentoring, helping those who are facing adversity to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in education, work and life.
Kate was joined by Dame Kelly herself, as well as documentary maker and mental health advocate, Zara McDermott, who is an ambassador of Shaping Us, a long-term campaign launched by The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood and spearheaded by the Princess.
