Kate Middleton looks incredible on tour in jacket she’s had since she was at uni
For some people, the idea of donning a jacket you wore when you were between the ages of 18 and 21 might seem like the worst idea in the world. After all, given it saw you through the messy years of university life, it probably has vomit stains on it that will never ever come out.
But Kate Middleton is not some people. The Duchess of Cambridge, noted alumna of St Andrews University, one of the poshest unis in existence, did not vomit on her jackets as you did. This is because she gallivanted around campus in a jacket from Yves Saint Laurant.

Now the Duchess of Cambridge is set to gallivant around Jamaica wearing the same jacket We call that some pretty neat upcycling. And like everyone else who went on holiday with their boyfriends this month, Kate is due to set off with her husband William, the Duke of Cambridge, for a series of royal engagements.
The new photos have come courtesy of photographers tapping her as she got on the plane, smiling and beaming at her fans while her red jacket popped in the sunshine. According to Daily Express Royal Correspondent, Richard Palmer, Kate bought the scarlet number while at university.
Needless to say, royal fans got all in a tizzy about this outfit, as they do whenever Kate wears literally anything. Twitter user @loveforcambridg wrote: “Wow at university? Amazing.” Another royal fan, @cadimamartins said: “HRH Catherine is very elegant.”
Kate’s outfit would not be complete without accessories – namely a £110 gold bracelet from Halcyon Days, which her husband bought her a few years ago. On her bottom half, Kate wowed in a pair of white trousers (perfect for the sunny weather) and stiletto heels.
The Duchess also accessorised with a pair of shiny gold stud earrings, which matched her bracelet, and a white handbag to pair with the aforementioned trousers of the same colour.
