After the success of SatyaPrem Ki Katha, Kartik Aaryan is all set to work with the renowned filmmaker Kabir Khan. The highly anticipated film is a sports drama titled Chandu Champion where Kartik will essay the role of a freestyle swimmer Murlikant Petkar.
It was previously reported that the film has started shooting and following the same, on Thursday, Kartik took to his Instagram and shared a picture along with Kabir Khan from London. In the photograph, Kartik Aaryan is seen gesturing with his fingers towards Kabir Khan, who gazes back at the actor with a warm smile. Simultaneously, Kabir Khan holds a clapper board in his hands, radiating enthusiasm for his project.
Sharing the picture, he wrote, “Shubharambh (holy beginnings). And the most challenging and exciting journey of my career begins… with the captain @kabirkhankk #ChanduChampion #SajidNadiadwala @nadiadwalagrandson @wardakhannadiadwala.”
According to reports, Kabir Khan is directing Chandu Champion, an upcoming sports drama. The film is said to be a biopic on Murlikant Petkar, who holds the distinction of being India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. Recent news revealed that Kartik has already commenced shooting for the film earlier this month.
