Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner welcome second child

Joshua Kushner thrilled fans on Instagram on Thursday evening when he made the surprise announcement that he and Karlie Kloss had welcomed their second child together.

Sharing a snap of the adorable newborn cozily wrapped up in a blue beanie and white swaddle, the 38-year-old proudly declared: “Welcome to (world emoji) 7.11.23.”

Streams of Karlie and Joshua’s A-list pals flooded the comments section with congratulations and love.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Mark Zuckerberg shared some red hearts while Kate Hudson issued a hearty: “Welcome!!”

Kim Kardashian added her own “congrats” with a few red hearts too.

The surprise announcement stunned fans as just days before the birth Karlie was still sharing bump updates with her 12.5 million followers, and had her maternity shoot just last week.

The 30-year-old donned a skintight black dress with a low-cut off-the-shoulder neckline and thigh-high slit, posing against a white background on a city rooftop as the sun set.

The model already shares one son, Levi, with Joshua who they welcomed in March 2021.

Karlie first debuted her baby bump barely two months ago at the renowned MET Gala in New York.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel sported another skintight black gown that highlighted her little bump, adorned with yellow swirls and strings of pearls.

In a conversation on the carpet with Emma Chamberlain, the super model admitted she felt “vulnerable”, adding that because her last pregnancy happened during the pandemic she had no idea “how to style a belly”.

Speaking to E! News later in the evening, Karlie also confessed that the baby will not be living down their epic debut.

She shared: “Baby’s first Met Gala. I mean, it’s hard to top this. I will be telling them about this for many years.”

After giving birth to Levi, the A-lister told the Today show that becoming a mother during the pandemic was completely unique experience.

She said: “Everything changes. I think the last few years have changed us as well. I have become, first of all, so much more efficient with my time. I’m actually on time everywhere now.”
