Kareena Kapoor Khan will make her digital debut very soon. It was announced that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sujoy Ghosh will collaborate on an untitled murder mystery based on Keigo Higashino’s Japanese novel The Devotion of Suspect X. Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma will also play important roles in the film.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and her son Jeh arrived at Bagdogra airport on Tuesday, prompting speculation that she was on a vacation in the hills. However, according to reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently filming a web series directed by Sujoy Ghosh in the hills of Bengal. Darjeeling and Kalimpong will form the background for filming. She will stay in a private hotel in Kalimpong and begin filming on Wednesday.
In a statement about the film, director Sujoy Ghosh said, “Devotion is probably the best love story I’ve ever read, and to get a chance to adapt it into a film is such an honour. Plus I get a chance to work with Kareena, Jaideep and Vijay! What more can one ask for?” Sujoy is also one of the producers of the film.
Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed that her first digital project “has all the right ingredients” saying: “I can’t wait to begin work on this exciting project.
