Kanti Rana Tata: Police Chief Holds Surprise Inspection Of Exam Centres | Vijayawada News – Times of India

VIJAYAWADA: City police commissioner Kanti Rana Tata conducted surprise inspections at the intermediate examination centres in the city on Tuesday.
He inspected SRR College in Machavaram police station limits and Mary’s Stella College in Patamata police station limits.
The police commissioner ordered the officials to ensure that the examination is conducted in a peaceful atmosphere without any untoward incident.
The on-duty police officers and chief superintendents of the examination centres were given suggestions regarding this.
Tata said mobile phones must not be allowed inside the examination centres and all nearby photocopy and printing centres must remain closed.
He said necessary facilities must be provided to the authorities concerned to make sure that the students appeared at the respective centres for examinations.
The police commissioner informed that the cops were directed to take necessary measures for the peaceful conduct of examinations. He later added that security forces were deployed at 84 examination centres across the district and Section 144 was in place. Swift actions were demonstrated to thwart traffic disruption during the examination.
Special mobile patrolling team and flying squads conducted inspections.
