Kanika Kapoor has finally confirmed her engagement to NRI beau Gautam Hathiramani. She posted photos from their romantic pre-wedding event in London with a romantic caption for Gautam, confessing her love for him. Kanika is wearing a pastel green lehenga and floral jewellery in the photos, and she is having a romantic moment with Gautam.
Gautam is a businessman based in London. Kanika captioned the photos she posted on Instagram: “G (heart emoticon) I Love you sooooo much!”
The first image shows a happy Kanika in an embroidered lehenga, with a relative making her wear flower bangles and mangtika, a mehendi ceremony custom. Gautam is dressed in a beige kurta-pyjama and is holding a bouquet of red roses. He is also seen kneeling down to propose to her with a pink rose. The couple is also seen dancing together while other guests applaud.
Kanika’s fanpages had shared a few videos from another pre-wedding event the day before. Kanika wore a silver lehenga, and Gautam wore a white kurta pyjama. Kanika was seen dancing to Oo Bolega Ya with other guests, including one of her daughters, in a video.
Kanika has three children: Aayana, Samara, and Yuvraj. She married when she was 18 and moved to London. After a few years, she divorced and went up to raise her three children on her own. She is originally from Lucknow and frequently visits her parents in India. She rose to prominence with her 2012 single Jugni Ji, and later with Baby Doll in 2014. She has since had several hits, including Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, Tukur Tukur, Genda Phool, and Oo Bolega Ya Oo Oo Bolega.
