Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date Revealed Along With Trailer
Jujutsu Kaisen’s highly anticipated Season 2 is set to arrive on July 6, 2023 in Japan as part of the Summer 2023 anime season. Two cours of new content will arrive this year, that will adapt Gojo’s Past Arc and the Shibuya Incident Arc from the manga.
The announcement of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 was made at the show’s special stage event at AnimeJapan. A recent trailer for season 2 has also been released along with the announcement, which teases the action that fans are looking forward to.
The trailer showcases Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s backstory, and we get a look at their own school uniforms as well. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 might delve deeper into the history of these two characters, and give a look at their time at Jujutsu High as students, as well as the role they played in the events of the Shibuya Incident.

The trailer also features a different artstyle and impressive cinematography with fluid motions. Goshozono Shouta is helming the second season, who has previously worked as episode director and key animator on a few episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1.
Riko Amanai is voiced by Anna Nagase, with Toji Fushiguro being played by Takehito Koyasu. Takahiro Sakurai, who voices Suguru Getou in the show, is reprising his role after fears of him not returning due to his extra-marital affair scandal.
