US actor Josh Duhamel, 49, has announced his engagement to 28-year-old former Miss World America, Audra Mari.
Josh Duhamel and his girlfriend of two years, Audra Mari, have revealed they are engaged.
The US actor announced the exciting news via Instagram on Saturday, with a photo taken moments after his sweet message in a bottle proposal on the beach.
Duhamel, 49, popped the question to US TV host Mari, 28, by writing, “Audra Diane Mari, Will you Marry me?” on a piece of paper with burned edges.
“It’s on!!” he captioned it. “She found a message in a bottle that washed ashore and said YES!!”
Plenty of Duhamel’s celebrity friends took to the comments section to send him well wishes, including his ex-wife, Fergie.
“Congrats!!!????????????????????????,” the “Fergalicious” singer, 46, wrote.
“So happy for you!!!! Let’s go looooooove!!!!!” Glen Powell exclaimed, with Matt Lanter adding, “Congrats my man!”
“I love you!! ♥️” Mari commented.
It was an exciting weekend for Mari, a former Miss World America, who also rang her in 28th birthday on Saturday.
She took to her Instagram Story to share a few pics from her celebration, which included a “birthday breakfast” with green juice for Duhamel.
“Correct. That’s HIS green juice. Not mine,” Mari joked.
Duhamel and Mari have been dating since 2019 but have kept their romance relatively private.
The Transformers star finalised his divorce from Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie in November of that same year, after the pair split in 2017 following eight years of marriage.
Duhamel and Fergie share one child together, son Axl, 8.
At the time of their split, they said in a statement: “To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”
