JoJo Siwa mourns beloved ‘perfect’ puppy killed in tragic accident
JoJo Siwa has revealed her adorable little puppy Tooie was killed in a tragic accident on Friday.
The former Dance Moms star, 19, shared the news in a TikTok video in remembrance of her little pet.
Set to the Black Eyed Peas’ song Boom Boom Pow, she posted a clip of her lip-syncing to the track while she danced along with Tootie on the table top, moving his paws to the beat.
She also snuggled with him as he excitedly licked her face at the beginning.
‘Going to miss this sweet little boy so much,’ she wrote over the video, alongside a broken heart emoji.
Adding further background on the accident, she added in the caption: ‘2 months ago our puppy Tooie (O2) joined our family and he brought the MOST joy, laughter, and messes into our life.’
Explaining what had happened, she continued: ‘My heart hurts so much to say that this morning he was involved in an accident and is now in puppy heaven.
‘I can’t even explain how perfect of a dog O2 was. Going to miss him more than words can explain.’
‘Thank you for bringing light to my life when it was dark tooie boy. See you one day. rest in peace my lil sweet boy????????,’ she finished up her caption.
The Dancing With The Stars alumna – who finished second on the 2021 season – also shared the news on her Snapchat, where she said she was ‘really numb’ after her mum had shared the news with her.
‘There was an accident with him this morning and it’s nothing that anybody could have done anything to prevent, so it’s no one’s fault.’
‘He hopefully didn’t suffer – I feel like it was pretty quick,’ she added.
JoJo remembered his personality fondly as she shared her heartbreak.
‘He’s the first puppy that I’ve ever lost that I’ve been really devastated by because I’ve been close to him – our other dogs that have passed away I wasn’t really close to and they were dogs that liked to do their own thing and don’t really like humans, but Tooie was a family boy.’
The performer split up last summer with girlfriend Kylie Prew after a brief reconciliation.
