Joe Jonas jokes about pooping his pants onstage: ‘Bad day’ to wear white

Joe Jonas revealed that he once pooped himself onstage.

In an interview with the KIIS Network’s “Will & Woody” radio show in Australia on Thursday, the 33-year-old Jonas Brother was asked to share something he’s “never told anyone.”

Jonas seemed to know exactly what story to tell, beginning with some background.

“I was with a few friends yesterday, and we were just talking about [how] there is a point in your life where, as an adult, you can remember the last time you s–t your pants,” he started as hosts Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw laughed, admitting that they “did not see this going in this direction.”

“That’s a story I’ve never told and also that’s just real life,” Jonas said.

The DNCE star admitted that the explosive event was fairly recent — just four years ago.

“It’s fresh. I’ve been able to work through it, a lot of therapy,” he quipped. “Let’s just say it was a bad day to choose to wear white clothing.”

It’s unclear whether Jonas couldn’t remember the specific date and location of the concert he was performing at the time of the s–tty situation or if he simply omitted those details — but he did share that the incident prompted a wardrobe change.

“You think it might be a little toot, it might’ve been a little something else, a little something extra. So it was like a mid-wardrobe s–t change during the set,” he admitted. “There is a wardrobe change halfway through the show, and it was maybe a little bit like, ‘Oh, that was an interesting choice to change clothes that quickly.’”

He clarified, “It was a light one, it wasn’t a full … so I was able to tell the tale.”

At the time, the singer-songwriter thought it was a big deal, but he’s actually not embarrassed by it anymore.

“You know, the whole time, I thought, ‘This is definitely … somebody’s gonna be able to see this and know what’s happening. They’re gonna realize that …’ you know,” he shared. “But it was all in my head. It wasn’t as big of a deal as I thought. Such is life.”

However, Jonas said that if he dug through the “archives,” there’s probably footage of the moment it happened.

“I’m sure I could find it,” he said.

The middle Jonas — who started the band with brothers Nick, 30, and Kevin, 35, in 2005 — seemed to be comforted by the fact that he knows this isn’t an uncommon situation among performers.

“It has happened to many artists. I feel like I’ve paid my dues, and I feel like I’m a part of some secret club now,” he said.
