Joan Collins looks incredible in white suit as she supports son Alexander Newley

Iconic actress Dame Joan Collins, 90, looked very elegant as she made a rare public appearance at The Polish Hearth Club in London to support her son, Alexander Newley, 57, and the launch of his new book.

On Thursday, the Dynasty star attended the launch of ‘Divining The Human’ – an illustrated memoir featuring Portraiture and Still Life art, alongside her husband Percy Gibson, 58.

To mark the momentous occasion, Joan stepped out in a two-piece white trouser suit and a pair of nude-topped heels.

Dame Joan’s satin double-breasted blazer featured oversized gold buttons, which she complemented with a statement gold necklace.

Underneath the blazer, she opted for a silky cowl neck top, which she wore loose over a pair of tailored white suit trousers.

Looking ageless, the former model opted for a bold red lip and dark eyeshadow. She also had her nails painted in a brilliant silver colour.

At the event, Joan posed for pictures alongside man-of-the-moment Alexander — who chose to celebrate in a more casual outfit.

The artist looked sophisticated in a black button-down shirt, which he wore over a fitted black T-shirt.

On the bottom, he teamed a pair of cream trousers with a plain black leather belt.

The pair were seen smiling and proudly embracing throughout the evening.

Other guests in attendance included former “It girl”, 46-year-old Lady Victoria Hervey.

The model was pictured looking elegant in a fringed jumpsuit that featured a flattering plunging neckline.

Victoria completed the all-black ensemble with pointed black court heels, a black Chanel handbag, and a black necklace.

Elsewhere, Joan’s husband, Percy, decided to contrast his wife’s neutral pantsuit.

He chose to wear a grey two-piece and black dress shoes to support his stepson’s new book.

Adding a pop of colour to his outfit, the Hollywood producer was also photographed wearing a pink checked shirt and a baby pink tie.

Joan and Percy met in the early 2000s while working on a theatre production, and were married at Claridge’s Hotel in London two years later.

It was the dame’s fifth time tying the knot, having annulled the marriage between her and her then most-recent husband, Peter Holm, 75, in 1987.

The dame shares Alexander and Tara Newley, 59, with her second husband Anthony Newley, and a third daughter, Katyana Kass, 50 with the late Ron Kass.
