Joan, 88, is a guest on The Jonathan Ross Show, which airs tonight at 9:30pm on ITV. The celebrated actor is among the first guests of the show’s new season, alongside ‘Succession’ and ‘Churchill’ star Brian Cox, comedian Rob Beckett, and TV presenter and pundit Alex Scott. Music legends Duran Duran will also feature, with the band having released their 15th studio album Future Past this week.
Joan Collins has been notoriously outspoken across her six-decade career and when she appeared on Good Morning Britain in December 2018, she blasted a campaign attempting to ban Baby, It’s Cold Outside.
The popular Christmas song, written by Frank Loesser in 1944 and introduced to the public in the 1949 film Neptune’s Daughter, has faced criticism since 2009.
In 2018 a number of North American radio stations cancelled the airing of the number after criticism and public pressure regarding its lyrics.
Some listeners regarded its lyrics as being suggestive of sexual harassment.

Asking Joan about the campaign Piers Morgan said: “I think it’s so preposterous because that whole scene from the movie is a mutual seduction process, right?”
Joan replied: “What’s going to happen to seduction is it’s not going to be allowed anymore.
“Is somebody going to have to ask permission to the parents before they can kiss a girl?
“It’s absolutely becoming out of control and seems to have happened in the last two years.
Joan replied: “Oh yes. The world’s gone nuts!”
The Dynasty actor recently admitted in an interview that she mostly avoided social media because she didn’t want to get caught up in any rampant social debates.
She told the Sunday Times: “I don’t want to engage in any way, shape or form with these morons.”
Joan, who published her memoir My Unapologetic Diaries this month, also stressed that she had had enough of “cancel culture”.
The actor then launched a staunch defence of Piers while simultaneously criticising Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Joan said: “I think [Harry and Meghan have] had enough oxygen in the press.
“[Piers] is more interesting than any of them.”
She added: “People can’t say what they think, because they’ll get canceled.
“Dredging up tweets From 15 years ago about what somebody might have said when they were 14, I think that’s sick.”
