Jesy Nelson has shared a heartfelt tribute to her ‘beautiful Nanny Ginge’ after her grandmother died.
The former Little Mix singer, 30, took to Instagram to share a series of photos and clips of her gran as she told her followers: ‘My beautiful Nanny Ginge, my heart feels so broken I don’t even have the words right now.
‘The most beautiful, kind hearted nanny in the world I feel so proud and so lucky to have shared so many beautiful memories with you.
‘I’m gonna miss everything about you, you being cheeky and flirting with all the men and telling them to give you a kiss.’
Jesy shared a snap of her dogs sleeping on her nan’s lap and cuddling up with her, adding: ‘Reggie and Oscar are gonna miss sleeping with you so much.’
She concluded: ‘I love you with all my heart nanny, go rest with the angels now.’
Among the precious moments Jesy shared were clips from Little Mix’s video for Strip in which her nan appeared as well as other female family members of the band.
Jesy then shared a photo of her holding her nan’s hand in bed, with a guardian angel bracelet visible on her grandmother’s wrist, as well as a sweet video of her dancing along to some music.
Fans soon flooded Jesy’s comments with condolences, writing: ‘fly high, she was an amazing lady always loved seeing her at tour, she will be so proud of you and everything you do.’
Others added: ‘So sorry for your loss my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time’ and ‘My heart goes out to you and your family, may she fly high and rest in peace.’
Another wrote: ‘i’m so sorry for your loss, may she rest in peace. My thoughts are with you and your family. she will be watching over you babygirl.’
