Jessie J kept the teddy from her Price Tag music video for the cutest reason
Prepare for some serious cuteness overload thanks to Jessie J.
The pop star recently gave birth for the first time, welcoming adorable baby boy Sky into the world in May with partner Chanan Safir Colman.
Jessie, 35, has kept fans updated throughout her pregnancy and in this new chapter of life, whether she’s speaking candidly about her past miscarriage or embracing her postpartum body.
One photo that has melted the hearts of thousands of fans, though, was a nostalgic snap from her Price Tag days.
Jessie released the iconic tune from her debut album Who You Are back in 2011.
In the fun music video, she’s seen dancing around a giant teddy bear with one eye – and we never would’ve believed that she’d actually keep the bear!
Taking to Instagram this weekend, the Flashlight singer posted the sweetest pic ever of one-month-old Sky lounging next to the insanely big teddy.
He’s only small anyway, of course, but this picture showed just how tiny he really is.
Jessie wrote in her caption: ‘I kept the bear from the Price Tag video for 13 years for this exact moment.
‘I sobbed taking this picture. Priceless ????????’
Yes, it has really been 13 years since Price Tag was released and yes, we are also sobbing.
Taking to the comments, Daisy Lowe – who also became a mum this year – wrote: ‘Oh how perfect!! Biggest love to you and your gorgeous family ????????????’
‘Omg so much love for this! ❤️ it’s not ok for price tag to be 13 years old ????’, added an emotional fan.
Getting punny, another commented: ‘It’s not about the money money money . I just need mommy mommy mommy’.
‘all he needs is a catsuit and a bob wig ????????♀️’, another joked, referencing Jessie’s iconic look.
Jessie’s post comes after she said she ‘never gave up hope’ of having a baby after losing her last pregnancy.
The Do It Like A Dude singer shared a slideshow of snaps to social media with the 2018 song Four Letter Word from her fourth studio album R.O.S.E playing in the background.
‘I wrote this song years after I was told I couldn’t have children in 2014,’ she wrote in the caption.
‘In 2015 I was told I needed a hysterectomy to cure the pain I felt most days. I said no thank you and instead changed my diet and took a spiritual journey to healing.
‘In 2021 I lost a baby, but I never gave up hope. Ever. Not once. Hope that whatever way I became a mother would always come to me in the right time. Naturally or not. I wanted to have a baby…’
The performer continued: ‘In September 2022 in an airport in Rio Brazil I found out I was pregnant. I fell pregnant in the Sky.
‘This song hits so different now…’
Jessie concluded by saying she has never felt like she has more of a ‘purpose’ than she does now as a mum.
‘Who I am as an artist is who I am in my life. Being a Mum is now a huge part of my identity and existence and I will celebrate it at every chance I get.’
