Jessie J breaks down in tears of joy as she announces baby’s arrival

Jessie J has been documenting her pregnancy journey on Instagram after she announced she was pregnant earlier this year.

Taking to her Instagram stories today, the Domino singer penned a heartwarming message which she shared with her 13 million followers.

The British singer told fans she has been left in floods of “happy tears” adding “He is all my dreams come true”.

In an emotional post, Jessie wrote: “A week ago my whole life changed. My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size.

“The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love. He is magic. He is all my dreams come true.”

She went on: “He is my whole world. He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can’t believe he is real, here and mine.

“I am so grateful phew *happy tears*. For all of you that have followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all your continued love and support.

“I will be back on Instagram when I’m ready.”

Earlier this year the singer revealed she and her boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman were expecting a baby boy.

Jessie is famously private about her love life but went public with basketball player Chanan, 38, last May.

The Price Tag artist, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, posted a video on Instagram to reveal the happy news, which included photos of her positive pregnancy test and shots of her growing bump.

The pop star, 35, penned a sweet Instagram post, writing: “I am so happy and terrified to finally share this. Please be gentle with me.

“Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked.”

The baby’s arrival comes after the singer suffered a miscarriage in November 2021.

Jessie opened up about her loss on an episode of the Diary of CEO podcast last year.

Hosted by Dragon’s Den star Steven Bartlett, she told him: “The day that I found out that the baby had died, I didn’t have anyone to just fall apart on and that’s what I needed, that’s what I wanted.”

She has shared words of support for others who have suffered a baby loss on multiple occasions.
