Jeremy Scott Exists Moschino

After 10 years with the luxury fashion house, Jeremy Scott is officially stepping down as Creative Director for Moschino.

In an announcement made via press release, Moschino shared how Scott “penned a fundamental chapter in the legacy of the brand with his fearless and show-stopping pop-camp style and incisive humour – true to the renowned codes of the House.”

First appointed in 2013, the highly-decorated fashion designer made waves in the industry for his cutting-edge vision and adventurous approach to social commentary within the sartorial scape. During his tenure, Scott brought both editorial and commercial success to Moschino, pushing for collaborations with Mcdonald’s, The Sims, Palace, and even fast-fashion label H&M.

“I am fortunate to have had the opportunity of working with the creative force that is Jeremy Scott. I would like to thank him for his ten years of commitment to Franco Moschino’s legacy House and for ushering in a distinct and joyful vision that will forever be a part of Moschino history.” said Aeffe S.p.A. Chairman, Massimo Ferretti on Scott’s departure.

In the same press release, Scott also took the time to thank his fans for their unwavering support, for which he credits his success. “THESE PAST 10 YEARS AT MOSCHINO HAVE BEEN A WONDERFUL CELEBRATION OF CREATIVITY AND IMAGINATION.I AM SO PROUD OF THE LEGACY I AM LEAVING BEHIND. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MASSIMO FERRETTI FOR THE HONOR OF LEADING THIS ICONIC HOUSE. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK ALL MY FANS AROUND THE WORLD WHO CELEBRATED ME, MY COLLECTIONS, AND MY VISION FOR WITHOUT YOU NONE OF THIS WOULD BE POSSIBLE.”
