Jeremy Clarkson sparks frenzy as he reunites with Richard Hammond and James May

Jeremy Clarkson, 63, reunited with his long-time friends and colleagues Richard Hammond, 53, and James May, 60, yesterday.

The trio appeared happy to spend quality time together as they were pictured grinning from ear to ear whilst sitting in a boat.

Not much context was given to the photo, apart from Jeremy’s cheeky caption, which read: “Three t***s in a boat”.

His 5.9 million followers quickly rushed to the comments section to express their adoration for the former Top Gear presenters.

One follower typed: “I LOVE YOU LOT SO MUCH.”

A second remarked: “Where can I see the episode?”

While a third commented: “The best thing I’ve seen all day. The return!”

And a fourth added: “The UK’s best trio.”

Jeremy, James, and Richard had their most recent outing on the Amazon Prime Video series in the trio’s A Scandi Flick episode last September, which saw them jet around frozen lake racetracks, ski slopes and Cold War submarine bases across Norway and the Russian Border.

A follow-up instalment – believed to be a festive special – was expected, but never arrived, amid reports that filming won’t resume until October this year.

An insider told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “Devotees might have been disappointed and worried about the sporadic delivery of the specials. But they can relax.

“It owes more to the busy schedules of the hosts as well as the spectacular content which takes time to set up. But that does mean they’re unlikely to go out until 2024.

“The producers are set to start on the shows within weeks and cameras will start rolling towards the autumn.”

The show – which reunited the former Top Gear stars – has spanned four seasons so far, with the first three featuring between 11 and 14 episodes, and the fourth being made up of four specials produced during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

The latest season is also expected to be in a similar vein to the last.

One of the most recent hair-raising incidents saw James break his rib after crashing his car while going at 75 miles per hour.

At the time, he said: “I suppose. I did it deliberately, I knew it was going to be boring otherwise [so I] sort of drove it to the cliff.”
