This new South Korean drama is about a man who receives an invitation into a new world from his late wife. The series stars Shin Ha-kyun (“Beyond Evil”), Han Ji-min (“Rooftop Prince”) and Lee Jeong-eun (“Parasite”). When Jae-hyun decides to take his wife up on her invitation to reunite in the afterlife, he questions how they can stay together forever when they remain worlds apart.

Rennervations
After suffering critical injuries in a snowplow accident in January, Jeremy Renner has a new project. In “Rennervations,” Renner and a team of expert builders reimagine decommissioned vehicles by turning them into mind-blowing creations that help to serve communities all over the world. Some of the projects include upgrading a delivery truck to a mobile water treatment centre in India with the help of Anil Kapoor; turning a tour bus into a mobile music studio with the help of Vanessa Hudgens; and repurposing a city bus as a mobile dance studio in Mexico with Sebastian Yatra. The series promises to help different charities and show off the selflessness that has always been part of Renner’s life and career.

American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing
This new Netflix docuseries takes a deeper look at the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, timed for release a decade after it took place. The three-part series concentrates on the manhunt that followed the tragedy, featuring new insights from first responders at the scene, the law enforcement officers responsible for finding the perpetrators and the survivors themselves.

The Last Thing He Told Me
The pick of the week is Jennifer Garner’s return to the small screen. The former “Alias” star plays Hannah, a woman who attempts to connect with her teenage stepdaughter to learn more about what really happened to her husband and the truth behind his disappearance. Garner not only fronts the series but serves as an executive producer. The show is based on the bestselling novel by Laura Dave, which was optioned by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine company.

It’s a big week for Apple, with another big release from the streamer. “Jane” is described as a “mission-inspired” series inspired by the work of conservationist Jane Goodall. The show stars Ava Louise Murchison (“Reacher”) as Jane Garcia, a nine-year-old environmentalist on a mission to save all the endangered animals in the world. Jane’s quest is inspired by her idol and namesake, Goodall.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Last season, standup comedian Midge Maisel was able to rebuild her career after being cut from a tour. Now, in the fifth and final season of the critically acclaimed series, which has already claimed 20 Emmys and three Golden Globe Awards, its lead comes closer to the success she has always dreamed of.

Waco Aftermath
After last month’s premiere of “Waco: American Apocalypse” on Netflix, Paramount Plus offers its sequel to 2018’s “Waco” that starred Taylor Kitsch. Because this is a sequel, expect to see many actors from the first season return, including Michael Shannon, John Leguizamo, Shea Whigham and Annika Marks. New additions to the cast include David Costabile and Giovanni Ribisi. This season operates primarily as a courtroom drama with the surviving Branch Davidian cult members on trial for their crimes. The release is timed to the 30th anniversary of the 1993 FBI standoff at the Branch Davidian compound with David Koresh.

Personality Crisis: One Night Only
The frontman of the New York Dolls, David Johansen, is the subject of this new Martin Scorsese-led documentary. Filmed at a cabaret performance in 2020, the doc explains the punk legend’s influences as he details the cultural evolution of New York City.

Barry
Bill Hader’s Emmy Award-winning comedy series returns for its final season. While not much is known about the program’s final dance, we do know that things will pick up after Barry’s arrest. The title character was incarcerated after Gene Cousineau’s (Henry Winkler) successful sting operation. Barry is now in prison, working toward convincing himself that he is still, in fact, a good person.
