JEE Main 2023: NTA releases application form for first session on jeemain.nta.nic.in, exam from Jan 24 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday invited applications for the JEE Main 2023 on the official website.
Candidates, who wish to apply for (Joint Entrance Examination) JEE Main 2023 exam, can check and download the notification on the official website – nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted by the Agency.
As per the official notice, posted on the official website, the JEE Main examination for the first session will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023.
The JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.
For Academic Session 2023-24, the JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2023) and Session 2 (April 2023).
JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
According to the official notice, the JEE mains 2023 will be conducted in two shifts – the first shift exam will be held from 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon while the second shift exam will be held from 03.00 p.m. to 06.00. The exam for B.Arch & B.Planning (both) will be conducted from 03.00 p.m. to 06.30 p.m.
