Blue Ivy clearly has her dad Jay Z wrapped around her little finger as the rap superstar became her own personal cameraman at the Super Bowl.

It was a family affair for the Carters as Jay Z attended the NFL event in Inglewood, California on Sunday with daughter Blue Ivy, mother Gloria and wife Beyonce who managed to sneak in.

They were seated right beside Beyonce’s Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland with the two spotted enjoying a chat as the game went on.

Jay Z wasn’t part of the star-studded rap line-up that headlined the halftime show, including Snoop Dogg and Eminem, but he had other important duties to tend to.

Before the big game kicked off, the 99 Problems rapper was seen on the field with Blue, 10, who was joined by a friend and naturally wanted to take some cool photos they no doubt wanted to show to their other pals.

An onlooker filmed footage of Jay Z being the ultimate girl dad and snapping photos of the youngsters jumping into the air. He even took care to get the right angles and was seen crouching down on the floor for the shoot, before showing Blue the photos.

However, it seems he didn’t quite capture the essence which the pre-teen was looking for and she got back into position for a retake.

Jay Z and Blue are huge sports fans and are often seen at basketball games together on daddy-daughter dates.

They were most recently seen attending the NFL game between the Los Angeles Rams, who won the Super Bowl, and Arizona Cardinals in Inglewood in January.

This year’s Super Bowl halftime was a rap-heavy fest with Dr Dre leading the line-up alongside Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar. 50 Cent even made a surprise appearance, hanging upside down as he performed his breakout hit In Da Club.

Of course, the Super Bowl holds fond memories for Beyonce, who famously headlined the event in 2013 before joining Coldplay as a surprise guest in 2016.

Jay Z is yet to headline the halftime show but he was the brains behind this year’s event in light of his brand Roc Nation’s partnership with the NFL, which began in 2019.
