Jawan drew inspiration from Money Heist? Here’s what we know
There has recently been talk about possible parallels between Atlee’s upcoming movie Jawan and the action thriller Gang Leader from 2019. The fact that a group of women band together in both films for a complex crime raises issues about potential sources of inspiration.
Rumours have also been circulating about Shah Rukh Khan’s role in Jawan, with some suggesting that it may be a remake of the Tamil film Oru Kaidhiyin Diary, starring Kamal Haasan, which was then remade in Hindi as Aakhree Raasta, starring Amitabh Bachchan.
However, a reliable source close to Shah Rukh Khan has firmly dismissed these speculations, emphasising that Jawan has no connection whatsoever with Oru Kaidhiyin Diary.
It has been revealed that Jawan is actually inspired by the hugely successful Spanish OTT series Money Heist. Contrary to rumours, Jawan is not a direct remake of Money Heist. Instead, it incorporates series-inspired themes while giving the story its own distinctive twist.
Fans are very interested and ready to see how the movie will incorporate its influences as a result of the claimed similarities between Jawan and Money Heist. Fans are intrigued and curious because it is still unknown exactly how much Jawan was inspired by the Money Heist and how it was implemented.
With this interesting fusion of styles, Jawan promises to enthral the viewer with an engaging plot and thrilling heist aspects. Jawan will be released on September 7 in theatres.
