Janette Manrara teases ‘very exciting announcement’ after husband Aljaz’s Strictly exit
Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two host Janette Manrara, 37, has taken to Instagram to reveal she will be making a “very exciting announcement” this week. Janette hinted at the news in view of her 474,000 followers last night while on her way out in a car.
It comes just hours after the presenter and professional dancer’s husband Aljaz Skorjanec, 31, left viewers emotional over his departure from Strictly 2021 alongside his celebrity dance partner Sara Davies, 37.
In a short video, Janette could be seen smiling mischievously alongside the caption: “Not only is tomorrow my birthday…. but a very exciting announcement coming your way in the AM!”
Without giving too much away, Janette added: “Watch this space!!”
Janette may share her announcement on Morning Live, as she is set to appear on the programme today.

“@saradaviescc is one of the most inspiring individuals I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting, and can now call my friend. She was an absolute star on @bbcstrictly and I loved watching her journey.”
The pair became the latest couple to depart this series after a dance-off with Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin.
Aljaz worried fans with his speech during the results show, sparking rumours he could be leaving his role as a Strictly pro behind.
He said: “I’m going to miss you so much, I’ll miss dancing with you.
“I’m going to miss everything about this show.”
Social media users rushed to Instagram to share their concerns.
Marilyn commented: “So so sad to see you both leave, loved your partnership.
“I hope that wasn’t a goodbye speech at the end, the show wouldn’t be the same without you Aljaz.”
Don Bags wrote: “I hope that wasn’t your goodbye to the show too Aljaz.
“You were both great. Hope to see you again next year x.”
