Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara is ‘counting her blessings everyday’ as she continues her pregnancy journey with her ‘little miracle’.

The professional dancer, 39, confirmed in February that she is expecting her first baby with her co-star husband Aljaž Škorjanec, 33.

It was a welcome surprise for the couple, who were just about to start IVF treatment after struggling to conceive for two years, before the pregnancy happened naturally.

Taking to social media on Saturday, Janette expressed her gratitude for all the support she has received since going public with her exciting news.

Sharing a picture of her growing bump, she wrote: ‘Just a quick appreciation post. We feel so much love from you all.

‘Thank you for all the kind messages and support. We are growing happy and healthy together. I don’t take for granted how fortunate I am, and count my blessings everyday for this little miracle ????’

Jannette’s update came shortly after she spoke candidly about her changing body and working out.

Posting a video of her exercising, she said: ‘I decided to enjoy my morning (while I can) and do a workout right at home, w/ lots of breathing and stretching just to get my body moving again, and I feel great!

‘It’s not as hard or physical as I’m used to, but I do get tired faster so taking breaks in between as and when I need them, and doing movement that I know won’t hurt me or the baby is crucial.

‘My body is changing and I love seeing how it develops as the baby grows. It’s fascinating what our bodies do to create life.’

Janette loved that she was able to spend time moving with her little one, and concluded her post by adding: ‘I really want to teach them the importance of physical activity not just for your physical health, but how good it is for our mental health as well.

‘Keep moving no matter how that may look for you. We’ve all got this.’
