Janette Manrara left ‘in tears’ over Strictly as she talks Aljaz exit
Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara, 38, has revealed she was left “in tears” during a recent episode of the show when Jayde and Tony Adams got emotional about their personal stories. Comedian Jayde didn’t shy away from showing her vulnerable side as she opened up about the loss of her sister, who she dedicated her American Smooth routine to.
Arsenal legend Tony also got emotional as he opened up about suffering from a mental breakdown.
In a new interview, the dancer said of the moments: “I’ve been in tears for Jayde and Tony – to come out and be that brave every week when they’re going through so much.
“As the conversation around mental health has become the norm, celebs are no longer afraid to talk about their feelings and to lose yourself in music is one of the best forms of therapy you can have.”
Janette was a professional on the show for eight years before she swapped the dance floor for presenting last year.

“Especially for Aljaž right now, when he’s just figuring it out,” she added.
Aljaz recently opened up about his hopes of becoming an actor.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine, he spilled: “I’m just a fan of the craft and am trying to get my foot in the door.
“Do I want to go to Hollywood? Of course! If I didn’t dream big I would never have ended up on Strictly.”
