Janella Salvador and Thai actor Win Metawin have finally put a stop to the speculations on their new project, as they confirmed that they are teaming up for the upcoming film “Under Parallel Skies.”

Salvador and Win revealed their new film in a post by production company 28 Squared Studios on Instagram on Tuesday, July 18.

“We are excited to announce to you guys that we will be teaming up for the upcoming movie Under Parallel Skies,” the actor said.

The Kapamilya star added that “Under Parallel Skies” will be directed by Sigrid Bernardo, who’s behind the hit movies “Kita Kita” and “Walang KaParis.”

Following their announcement, 28 Squared Studios also shared a sneak peak of Salvador and Win while filming, although details about their character arcs, plot, and premiere date are yet to be revealed, as of this writing.

The movie will reportedly revolve around a man who’s determined to move on from a “painful past.” However, he crosses paths with a mysterious woman who’s somehow connected to prior events.

Speculations about Salvador and Win’s film emerged as early as June when the Thai actor revealed in an interview that he would be working with a “non-Thai actress” in his next project.

Born as Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, Win gained widespread recognition in the series “2gether: The Series” and has then starred in projects such as “F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers,” “Enigma,” and “Devil Sister.”

Meanwhile, Salvador previously made waves for her role as Regina Vanguardia and Valentina in “Mars Ravelo’s Darna,” and is best known for her appearances in “The Killer Bride,” “Oh My G!,” “Be Careful with My Heart,” and “The Haunted Mansion,” among others.
