Jane Seymour defies age as she reprises film character

Posting on her Instagram to her 265,000 followers actress Jane Seymour dazzled as she got dressed up and attended the Somewhere in Time weekend, which takes place annually at the Grand Hotel in Michigan hotel where the original film was shot.

The star, who appeared in the film alongside Christopher Reeve and Christopher Plummer, wore an extremely similar white dress to the one she wore in the romantic fantasy film and posed with others who “love this special film”.

Jane, who is always complimented on her remarkable looks for her age, proved once again that age is just a number, as she flawlessly posed in numerous photos.

Within the 80s film, Jane portrayed actress Elise McKenna. After having fallen in love with her picture, Christopher Reeve’s character Richard Collier time travelled back to 1912 where he tried to win over Elise, but comes into conflict with Elise’s manager, William Fawcett Robinson (portrayed by Plummer).

Having been one of Jane’s most notable roles, it is clear the film still means a great deal to the actress, who captioned the post she put on social media: “It was so wonderful to spend time with all of the amazing people who love this special film. ⁣Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to make it happen, to those who came to celebrate, and to all of you for joining us for the journey. My heart is full!”
