Jamie Foxx ‘will return to public eye when he’s ready’ claims worried co-star

With the looming release of his new movie, They Cloned Tyrone, John Boyega has shared an insightful health update regarding his co-star Jamie Foxx.

John assured fans Jamie was “all good” following a concerning health battle which saw him hospitalized earlier this year.

Speaking to ET Canada, the Star Wars alum revealed he’s spoken to Jamie and confirmed: “He’s all good, he’s all good.”

“So we’re just going to wait for him to reappear when he wants to,” the actor added.

This will come as a relief to fans, as John previously told Entertainment Tonight: “No one has heard from Jamie.”

During the interview, their co-star Teyonah Parris continued: “Giving people space to heal how they need to do.”

After months of no communication, John was finally able to get through to the Hollywood legend in June and told PEOPLE: “He finally picked up the phone.

“He’s doing well. And then, you know, we just giving him the privacy, and we can’t wait for his return.

“I gave him the well wishes directly. I gave him all the well wishes. So I’m just gonna be waiting until he comes back out here. So take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.”

In April, panic spread across social media, after Corrine Foxx disclosed: “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.”

While she offered little insight into his illness or the cause, many were able to breathe a sigh of relief as Jamie addressed fans on Instagram.

In a post, he wrote: “Appreciate all the love!!!” it read. “Feeling blessed,” and he was inundated with messages of support from his celeb pals including Vin Diesel and Jeremy Renner.

After reports of Jamie’s health declining, Corrine shut down the rumors with another update as she revealed the actor was back on his feet.

Taking to social media, she stated: “ Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,

“In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support! We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”

Corrine since shared that Jamie would eventually be back on screens with a game show, We Are Family, featuring both her and her father, coming to Fox.

They Cloned Tyrone showrunner Datari Turner added: “He’s [Jamie] doing amazing. I promise you. Doing really, really good.

Datari teased: “He’s in really, really good shape and spirits. And he’ll be back on the screen. He’ll be back to work very soon.”
