James penned the caption: ‘How’s your weekend going?’ and amassed a flurry of responses as followers expressed their love for their bromance.

One fan jokingly typed: ‘Well, your weekend looks to be Dyer, to be fair [sic].’

Danny played Mick Carter, the owner of the Queen Vic and recently opened up about his departure on The Jonathan Ross show.

He told the talk show host: ‘It’s a very emotional thing, it’s such a big part of me.

‘I tell you what it is, I’m lazy… It’s f****** hard. 30 pages you’ve got to learn a day. It’s like a film a week.

‘[But] if it goes t*** up, I can go back. I can turn up in three years’ time and walk in the Queen Vic smothered in seaweed… they (the bosses) wanted to keep it open.

‘I’m very privileged and grateful for that job. It really did change my career and my life.’

The star is gearing up for the release of a new game show Cheat that will air on Netflix.
