Jailed Andrew Tate’s £5m Bugatti could be sold after his arrest

ANDREW Tate’s beloved £5m Bugatti, which he used to taunt Greta Thunberg, could be sold if the jailed influencer is convicted.

Romanian cops are going after his prized possession as they continue to probe the misogynistic influencer – who remains in jail accused with trafficking and rape.

Romanian authorities have seized several of Tate’s 33 vehicles when they raided his house in the outskirts of Bucharest last month.

But prosecutors hope to make a sell on the £5million supercar if he is convicted.

If it is sold, it is sure to bruise the ego of the disgraced kickboxer.

Tate’s prized Bugatti is one of just 60 such cars in the world, being capable of going from 0 to 60mph in just 2.4 seconds with a top speed of 305mph.

It is regarded as one of the fastest, most expensive and luxurious supercars in the world.

In December last year, Tate posted a picture of the luxury car on Twitter to rile Greta Thunberg.

In the post, he bragged to the eco activist about its high emissions.

It read: “I have 33 cars.

“My Bugatti has a w16 8L quad turbo.

“My Two Ferraris 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s

“This is just the start.

“Please provide your email address so I can send a list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions.”

Thunberg was swift to reply and said: “Yes, please do enlighten me. Email me at [email protected].”

He was arrested just days after the social media spat.

And ever since, Tate’s money and assets are being chased down by Romanian organised crime-busting cops, DIICOT, as part of the wide-ranging probe.

Should Tate be convicted, it is believed they will be auctioned off.

According to Romanian news Gandul, the Administration of Impaired Assets was working with Dubai officials to seize the Bugatti as it is stored in the United Arab Emirates.

The report also said other countries could be added to the search including the UK, US and Ireland.

If so, the Tate brothers could lose their house they bought for their mother in Devon, UK.

Some £6million worth of supercars – including a Rolls Royce, Aston Martin and Lamborghini – have already been seized from his compound in Romania.

Other assets seized by the cops reportedly include expensive watches and guns.

Andrew and Tristan Tate both deny all allegations against them.

The compounding and auctioning of the cars would follow any conviction.

However, no charges have been filed and police have twice extended their arrest in custody.
