Jacqueline Fernandez questioned by ED in money laundering case
Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was questioned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case. According to reports, the case is in connection with a multi-crore extortion racket by a well-known conman named Sukesh Chandrashekar. A tweet by news agency ANI read, “Enforcement Directorate (ED) is questioning Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez in Delhi for the last five hours, in a money laundering case.”
For those unversed, Jacqueline happens to be a Sri Lankan national who has been a part of the Bollywood industry for the past 12 years. She was crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka in 2006. Later, she went on to make her debut in the year 2009 with the film Aladin co-starring Amitabh Bachchan.
On the professional front, she was last seen in the music video of ‘Paani Paani’ alongside rapper Badshah. Next up she has a number of releases in the pipeline including– Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu and Bachchan Pandey, Kick 2 with Salman Khan, Cirkus featuring Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde, Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam and Arjun Kapoor.
