J.Lo flaunts washboard abs in pink crop
The 52-year-old showcased her incredible physique in a pink crop top during a photo shoot, leaving fans with one question on their minds.
It’s understandable why Jennifer Lopez fans believe the singer is ageing backwards.
Almost every time she posts a snap showcasing her fit figure, she’s inundated with comments questioning whether she’s “really” in her 50s.
And the 52-year-old was at it again, flaunting her washboard abs as she posed in a pink crop top and matching tracksuit bottoms for a photo shoot with luxury brand Coach.
She shared several behind-the-scenes photos posing on a pink bike with her outfit paired with an over-the-shoulder Coach bag and matching heels.
And it didn’t take long for some of her 193 million followers to inundate the comments section.
“You look amazing,” one fan declared.
“Ageing backwards,” wrote another, while a third added: “Age is just a number.”
The Marry Me actress is famed for her insane workouts and according to celebrity trainer, New York-based David Kirsch, J.Lo is “meticulous about her eating, sleeping and generally about everything in her life”.
“It’s not just a physical thing – it’s about transforming every aspect of your life,” he said about his client in an interview with Vogue.
“Jennifer and I do a lot of platypus walks with a wide stance. Also known as a sumo walking squat,” he told the magazine.
“It’s great for your inner thighs and butt.”
He said single leg deadlifts and boxing are also key, and always incorporates elements of pilates into the training session.
“We mix some cardio, plyometrics, full body, core and lower body into her workouts – they are very, very intense and she takes it very seriously, which is exciting for someone like me.
Kirsch said Lopez is very focused and full of energy, with her workouts also quite fast-paced.
In preparation for her 2019 movie Hustlers, the star gave up sugar and carbs, telling fans at the time it was part of a 10-day challenge.
She revealed that cutting out these two food groups was actually a suggestion made by one of her other trainers, Dodd Romero, to help her prepare for her the role, which also saw her learn pole dancing.
In an appearance on The Ellen Show at the time, she said: “[The challenge] was really hard. Not only do you get a headache, but you feel like you’re in an alternate reality or universe. Like, you don’t feel like yourself. You realise that you’re addicted to sugar.”
And back in 2016, the mother-of-two revealed she never skips a workout.
“I am 100 per cent convinced that working out is part of what makes me so happy,” she told Hello!
