Italian actor Rossano Rubicondi – Ivana Trump’s fourth husband – has died following a year-long battle with skin cancer.
Italian actor Rossano Rubicondi — Ivana Trump’s fourth husband — died on Friday after a year-long battle with melanoma, a type of skin cancer, according to reports. He was 49 years old.
The Golden Bowl actor and Ms Trump were married in 2008. They divorced in 2009, but continued to see one another on and off for the following decade,” the New York Post reports.
He and Trump appeared as guests on the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars in 2018.
In 2019, Ms Trump told Page Six the relationship “ran its course”.
“Rossano spends a lot of time in Italy and I spend a lot of time in New York, Miami and St-Tropez, and he has to work,” she said at the time.
“The long-distance relationship really doesn’t work. We had a good time and are friends. The split was amicable.”
Rubicondi was Ms Trump’s fourth husband — after Alfred Winklmayr, former president Donald Trump and Riccardo Mazzucchelli.
Italian TV personality Simona Ventura first tweeted news of his death, The Sun reported.
“Thanks for the journey we made together, for the good times and the bad, and also the tears and laughter,” she wrote.
Rubicondi appeared with Ventura on L’Isola dei Famosi, The Island of the Famous — the Italian celebrity version of Survivor.
He was both a presenter and a contestant on the show.
