ITV Limitless Win viewers have the same complaint about Ant and Dec’s new show

Viewers tuning in to watch legendary duo Ant and Dec’s new Limitless Win gameshow have been left bemused with many complaining they couldn’t follow the complicated rules.

The new show claims to give contestants the chance to win more money than any other show in British TV history by climbing an endless money ladder.

But if the reaction to the show on social media is anything to go by there’s also an endless list of rules.

The contestants taking on the show for the first time this Saturday (January 8) night were NHS workers and couple Will and Kathryn.

Fans were left confused by the presenting duo’s newest show

In an incredible first show the two came away with a life changing half a million pounds, but something else was the talking point for viewers when the dust had settled.

In the lead up to the show’s launch, Radio Times reviewer David Brown had warned: “What seems initially like a simple system is soon complicated by a torrent of clauses and caveats.

“There are dials to turn, buttons to press, as well as lifelines to be won and lost.

“And at times, the hosts feel like the rigid players of a board game who keep reaching for the pamphlet of rules.”

It seems as though viewers agreed with this, with a number venting their frustration on Twitter:

Some even compared the shows complex rules to the legendary joke gameshow Numberwang created for sketch show That Mitchell and Webb Look:

Others were clearly confused by the format, one asking: “Let me get this right. They’ve got one question correct so far but now they’re playing for over 100k?”

Another joked: “Trying to sleep tonight still trying to piece together the rules and concept of the show #LimitlessWin.”

Safe to say the show could have got off to a better start? But perhaps it’s fair to assume the first episode would always be a bit rules heavy and next weeks will be more fun.
