ITV Dancing On Ice Connor Ball in blade horror as skate slices leg

Dancing On Ice contestant Connor Ball was injured for the second time this series as a skate blade ran into his leg.

The Vamps musician was bleeding after suffering a horror fall on the ice during his routine with professional skating partner Alexandra Schauman.

The pair stumbled to the ice and Connor later told show hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that a blade had run into his leg.

The star looked shaken but insisted to a concerned Phil and Holly that he didn’t want to see medics just yet.

The pair stumbled during their routine

“I don’t want to look at what’s going on under here right now,” he said pointing at his trousers.

“A blade ran into my leg.”

Judge Ashley Banjo said: “Anyone who wonders if Dancing on Ice is dangeous it really is on the line every single time.”

Later in the show Holly updated to say Connor was with medics.

Worried fans took to Twitter to send their support.

@Charlie__Tweets said: “Connor is one of my favourites. I think he is a great skater, when he goes over I feel sorry him. He clearly works hard.”

And @hannah_gomm gasped: “No, Connor!! Such an amazing dance though!”

Earlier in the series Connor needed stitches after suffering an injury moments before broadcast.

The star slipped and smacked his face on the ice while trying to perfect a spin and during his performance the stitches opened up.
