Why is Spotify down?

Reports started coming in around 8.51 am EST on November 2 that the site was having issues.

At least nine reports came in from users who were experiencing problems with the music streaming service.

73 percent of those problems were to do with the app while 18 percent were with the website.

Some users said they had issues loading artist pages, while others insisted that their music simply would not play.

It is not immediately clear if the issues have been resolved.
