APPLE could be preparing to make a big name change for the iPhone.

The much-rumoured iPhone 14 Max may not actually be called this in the end.

Instead, the tech giant is considering a different moniker that will serve as a nod to the past for some.

According to leaker Lanzuk, the Plus name is making a comeback.

You may remember the last time we had a plus title was way back on the iPhone 8 Plus.

Of course, it’s just a rumour for now so best to take it with a pinch of salt until Apple announces something officially later this year.

Other models are expected to retain their current name.

The four-device line-up could look like this: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The new Plus – or Max – hasn’t even been confirmed yet.

It’ll apparently be the standard iPhone except it’ll have a much bigger display.
