Investors keen on HMA Agro must look at post-listing trends before taking a call

The IPO values the company at 19.5 times its estimated annualised earnings for FY23. However, there are some clear risk factors (as listed in the company’s prospectus) that could keep investors at bay.

Synopsis

HMA Agro was incorporated in 2008, but the promoter family has been involved in the meat business for over four decades. It is a three-star export house with processing units in four states – Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Maharashtra and a capacity of over 400,000 tonnes per annum.
