The 69th National Film Awards 2023 ceremony was underway today. The prestigious event saw winners of the top honours accept their awards in a grand, star-studded affair. Among the winners are Alia Bhatt, who won the Best Actress award for Gangubai Kathiawadi, Kriti Sanon who shares her award with Bhatt for her role in Mimi and Allu Arjun who won the Best Actor award for Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1. Pankaj Tripathi won in the Best Supporting Actor category for Mimi while Pallavi Joshi won Best Supporting Actress for The Kashmir Files. Meanwhile, Waheeda Rehman won the award for her contribution to cinema.
