TAKE a look inside the grand interior of the luxury Queen Victoria cruise liner as it docks in the Port of Tyne.

With a capacity for more than 2,000 passengers and 980 crew members, the ship has returned from Barbados ahead of its upcoming season of voyages.

Cunard’s Queen Victoria ship made an impression on members of the public in North Shields, who watched the majestic 294m vessel sail into the Port of Tyne.

It will remain docked there until April 24, before travelling down to Southampton where it will embark on its Baltic Explorer journey on April 27.

The Queen Victoria ship underwent extensive renovations in 2017, and images show the luxurious details that passengers can expect inside.

The ship includes a ballroom, traditional pub, a nightclub with 270-degree view of the sea, and a full theatre with West End style productions.

The stage is used by the resident Royal Cunard Singers and Dancers for everything from music, dance, magic shows, or even comedy performances.

Guests sailing aboard Queen Victoria can also expect to be wowed by the ship’s troupe of illusionists, aerial performers and variety entertainers.

The ship also features a spa, swimming pool, a fully-equipped gym, and a library that boasts over 6,000 books.

There’s no end of opportunities for sun worshippers, with the ship’s deck having plenty of swimming pools, jacuzzi pools and loungers.

The dining rooms and ballroom offer unbeatable views of the ocean.

Bedrooms have been renovated during the ship’s overhaul in 2017.

There are six accommodation options to choose from, ranging between inside cabins to balcony rooms and luxurious suites.
