Late last year, Mark Zuckerberg faced controversy for spending millions on adding extra acres to his Hawaiian estate.

The billionaire tech CEO now owns over 1,400 acres in Hawaii and is often seen there doing activities like spear-throwing or surfing.

Zuckerberg and his wife have been accused of “neocolonialism” by Hawaiian locals who fear they will be replaced.

However, Zuckerberg and his family claim they are helping to conserve natural areas around their Hawaiian home.

Zuckerberg owns several homes in California.

This includes one he bought for $7million in Crescent Park back in 2011.

According to CNBC, it’s been fitted out with a “custom-made artificially intelligent assistant”.

His smart home was said to do futuristic things like start Mandarin lessons as soon as the Zuckerberg children woke up.

A desert escape

Zuckerberg’s houses come with variety and two in Lake Tahoe are a short car journey from the deserts of Nevada.

One of those houses boasts 200 feet of lakefront and a marina-style pier.

If that wasn’t enough, the other home has 400 feet of lakefront and its own pier.

Zuckerberg was said to spend $59million on the homes that are right next to each other.
