The 26-year-old midfield star has already played a total of 172 games for Barcelona, scoring 14 goals.

He’s also exceptionally well paid by the Spanish football team – according to fichajes.com, the Dutch player receives £440k every month.

The Barcelona star is one of the best midfielders in the world due to his versatility and technical ability — especially his passing — being second to none. 

But away from football, he is a petrolhead with an eye-watering selection of cars.

Here we have broken down his jaw-dropping car collection.

Porsche Macan – £80k approx.

Frenkie drives a Macan S model – it comes with around 350bhp and can sprint from 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds.

And, with a top speed of 157mph, the midfield maestro shouldn’t be late for any training sessions at the Camp Nou stadium.

BMW 3 Series – £40k approx.

Although it’s not clear whether the Barcelona players were each gifted cars, it’s probably a safe bet that Frenkie would’ve had the chance to get behind the wheel of the stylish Formentor.

The 2.0-litre TSI model is quick, too – with 306bhp it manages 0-62mph in a rapid 4.9 seconds.
