“As we think about this new mode of work… we are going to have people working from any location on many different types of devices. Our security control environment needs to continue to evolve to meet those needs,” said Boden at the two-day conference.

“We are seeing a significant amount of digital innovation and adoption. It can be said that any organization without a digital strategy is not really innovating. From a cybersecurity world, the attack threat surface increases dramatically,” feels Salvi.

These cyber security breaches always existed, however, the pandemic has intensified the frequency of such incidents. As the pandemic now seems to ease out, a gradual shift towards a mixed-mode of work is being witnessed.
