IndMoney ropes in Dhruv Pathak as CTO
Pathak was a founding member of the technology team of travel app Goibibo, which was also founded by IndMoney founder and chief executive Ashish Kashyap. Post the merger of Goibibo and MakeMyTrip, Pathak was appointed as senior vice president of technology and looked at creating technology interventions for the hotels platform of both travel brands.
Founded in 2019, IndMoney allows users to track and organise their finances on a single platform and helps them invest across various financial instruments including mutual funds, fixed deposits, bonds and US stocks. It also helps users with wealth planning.
In March, IndMoney closed
its fresh fundraise at $86 million, valuing it at $650 million post-money.
With the fundraise, the company planned to launch a credit-card-based product for users, linked with its neo-bank. Recently, it also received the necessary licenses to roll out its stock trading platform, which will allow users to invest in Indian equities.

IndMoney claims to have close to five million users and facilitated over $1.1 billion in investments for its customers.
The company is backed by the likes of Tiger Global, Steadview Capital, Dragoneer and Sixteenth Street Capital, which have invested a total of $144 million in the company to date.
