Though IndiGo has been grappling with engine troubles for some time now, the expectation was that Pratt & Whitney’s recall will have ‘minimal’ impact on the airline’s fleet. But that may no longer be the case if an advisory by the engine maker, which is yet to be made public, is anything to go by.
Earlier this month, Bindi Bhatia, who was returning to Mumbai with her elderly parents on an IndiGo flight after visiting the famous Shrinathji temple in Rajasthan’s Nathdwara, was in for the shock of her life.
