India’s VFX Revolution Episode 1 on RRR is out now

The first episode of the series features Pete Draper, the visual effects supervisor behind the S.S. Rajamouli-directed RRR, starring N.T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan. Set on a budget of around INR 550 crores, the film garnered a whopping INR 1258 crores at the worldwide box office.

RRR became a major success worldwide for the action and visual spectacle that Rajamouli created. In the video, Draper talks in detail about how visual effects were used to bring Rajamouli’s vision to life. Before working on RRR, Draper has had experience working with the famed Telugu director on his previous projects such as Eega and the Baahubali franchise.

Along with that, there’s even some behind-the-scenes knowledge on that epic climactic battle featuring the two protagonists at a lot more.
