He says: ‘There are many benefits to having a dehumidifier in your home, with the main one being that they reduce any allergens and irritants in damp areas of your home.
‘Dehumidifiers may also make breathing easier for people who suffer from asthma.
‘Some other benefits being that they reduce mould and mildew, and these can cause reactions such as itching, sneezing, a runny nose and other irritations.
‘They also prevent musty odours, alleviate allergy symptoms, reduce pest related issues and reduce dust mites.’
