Can one cleaning product really do the job of 20? It seems a big ask, but according to over 83,000 reviewers, a brand called Koh has proved it’s possible.

Its ‘system’ uses a Universal Cleaner that, teamed with various eco-friendly accessories, such as refillable bottles and washable cloths and mop pads, aims to do the job of your whole cleaning cupboard.

Koh adds its Universal Cleaner contains no harsh chemicals – so good for us and the planet – and works on a huge range of surfaces including bench tops, ovens, stovetops, wooden and tiled floors, couches and rugs. So, basically, everywhere.

We have to say we’re more than intrigued by this idea, so we took a look at the reviews and it’s a big thumbs up from customers with tens of thousands of happy shoppers scrubbing their home to a sparkling wonderland apparently thanks all to the product.

One shopper said they ‘absolutely love’ the product, noting: ‘The cleaning solution is beyond amazing and I recommended it to all my friends.

‘I was well impressed with the results when used it for the extractor fan which looked like it had never been cleaned when we moved into this house. I was just looking in awe at how all the grease and grime was coming down.’

Another agreed, writing: ‘Love this cleaning product. It really does as it says. Brings my stainless steel and chrome fridge, microwave, oven etc up streak free and is amazing on streak free windows.’

A third said they’d had marks on their bathroom hand basins for years, which they’d not been able to remove.

‘One attempt with Koh and all marks have gone,’ they claimed.

Are we…are we into the idea of…deep cleaning our home right now?

You can buy the products on their own or as part of a starter kit (which, to us, just sounds like it makes life easier) and it all gets sent directly to your home, as most great things do these days.

The Surface Starter Kit contains a 4l pack of cleaning solution, a reusable atomiser spray bottle, a pack of machine washable cloths and a diamond four-pack of abrasive sponges and currently costs £34.80, down from £49.80.

The Surface + Spray Mop Starter Kit contains the same as above plus Koh’s spray mop and mop pads.

The mop has a nifty refillable chamber that sprays the cleaning product directly on the floor ahead, which you then just wipe over. The pack comes with three green pads that attach at the end for cleaning and two blue pads for buffing and polishing. This starter kit is currently available for £69.75, down from £99.75.

Finally there’s the Complete Starter Kit which is similar to the mop starter kit but has four packs of machine-washable cloths, two packs of diamond sponges and four spray bottles. The kit costs £119.45, down from £171.45.

A pack of Koh’s Universal Cleaner on its own costs £18.95.
